A base Crown Victoria was selling for about $28,000 in the States while the same car was selling for $37,000 base in Canada. Town Cars State side were selling around $45,000 while in Canada they were going for an obscene $68,000.<br /><br />Basically Ford could care less about their panther cars and did nothing to upgrade and improve them, they just killed them off. Way to go Ford!<br /><br />As for the 1,200 jobs lost at St. Thomas, Ford could care even less. I guess it's the typical corporate mantra "profits before people."<br /><br />Big corporations like Ford fail to realize is that people who are out of work ain't gonna buy their products. Guarantee there are 1,200 people who won't be looking to by new cars any time soon.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
